Update: So Much Going On.

Hello, friends! Happy Black History Month! It's more than a month. It's a lifetime. A lifetime of educating ourselves on things long buried and covered up. Almost eradicated and lost us. As long as we keep searching and teaching, our history will never be forgotten.

Superbowl Halftime Show

Even if you don't speak Spanish, there's no way you didn't feel the positive vibes from the Bad Bunny halftime show. I felt proud, and I'm not even part of the Spanish culture. It's the same way I felt with the Kendrick Lamar halftime show. I especially loved the message at the end. That's what the country needs right now. A whole lot of love and a lot less hate.

Winter Storm

If you got hit by this winter storm, I pray everyone stayed warm and safe. I usually expect some kind of winter storm around this time, but not like the one we got. Snow I can deal with. But the ice is something else. The Internet was an issue the first go around. I work from home and we don't get a stipend or at least partial pay for internet outages. We all survived and I can make up that lost money another way.

Draft2Digital And The Book Cover Situation

The book cover situation is finally rectified. I thank Draft2Digital for taking the time to listen to my concern and correct the issue. I am pleased with that. It didn't take that long and I didn't have to talk to a robot. Or make any phone calls at all. Thanks Draft2Digital for making everything as painless as possible.

A Touch Of Writer's Block Or Trying To Figure Out What To Finish First.

I don't know what it is. One minute I am trying to finish a crochet project and the next minute I want to finish my fifth book and the sixth one at the same time. It's like my creativity is playing hopscotch. I feel like I need a change of scenery and a nature walk. The last little outing I had was over the holidays when I traveled to South Carolina. It was great. I came back refreshed and renewed. And, that is when I was able to finish Love and Betrayal of Nightshade and finish a crochet project I was working on. If that's the remedy, I'm not going to complain about it lol.
